All announcements regarding current route information on disruptions, engineering works, industrial action, rail replacement services, route closures or other disruptions to the scheduled services of WESTbahn are summarised below.

All route updates:

Due to engineering works by Deutsche Bahn Netz, the following timetable changes will apply to all services to and from Munich:

Sunday, 12.05.2024 and Monday 13.05.2024:

Salzburg, Rosenheim → Munich: the arrival time of all trains at Munich Central Station will be delayed by 20 minutes. The stop in Munich East will be cancelled.
Munich Central Station → Rosenheim, Salzburg: The stop in Munich East will be cancelled for all trains:

Train 959 departs at 07:21 from Munich Central Station
Train 963 departs at 09:18 from Munich Central Station. ATTENTION: This train will be cancelled on Sunday 12.05.2024
Train 965 departs at 11:27 from Munich Central Station
Train 971 departs at 15:17 from Munich Central Station
Train 983 departs at 17:33 from Munich Central Station

Services between Vienna and Salzburg are not affected.

Due to bridge and overhead line maintenance works in Munich by Deutsche Bahn Netz, the following timetable changes between Salzburg and Munich will apply:

Tuesday, 04.06.2024 until Monday, 10.06.2024:

Salzburg, Rosenheim → Munich Central Station: For trains 948, 962 and 966, the arrival time at Munich Central Station will be delayed by up to 30 minutes. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.
Munich Central Station → Rosenheim, Salzburg:

Train 963 departs at 09:23 from Munich Central Station. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.
Train 965 departs at 11:16 from Munich Central Station. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.
Train 971 departs at 15:19 from Munich Central Station. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.

Thursday, 06.06.2024 until Monday, 10.06.2024:

Munich Central Station → Rosenheim, Salzburg: Train 959 departs a 07:21 from Munich Central Station. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.

Tuesday, 11.06.2024:

Salzburg, Rosenheim → Munich Central Station: For trains 948 and 970, the arrival time at Munich Central Station will be delayed by up to 30 minutes. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.
Munich Central Station → Rosenheim, Salzburg:

Train 963 departs at 09:23 from Munich Central Station. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.
Train 965 departs at 11:16 from Munich Central Station. The stop in Munich East is cancelled.

Due to engineering works by Deutsche Bahn Netz outside Munich Central Station, the following timetable changes will apply on Sunday 07.07.2024:

Train 963: The departure time at Munich Central Station is 09:43 (instead of 09:48)
Train 965: The departure time at Munich Central Station is 11:40 (instead of 11:45)
Train 971: The departure time at Munich Central Station is at 15:43 (instead of 15:48)

Due to extended engineering works by ÖBB Infrastruktur AG between Amstetten and Attnang-Puchheim from August 1st 2024 until August 30th 2024, the following timetable changes will apply to all WESTbahn services:

Direction Vienna → Salzburg, Innsbruck, Bregenz, Munich: All trains depart 30 minutes earlier from Vienna, St. Pölten and Amstetten, 10 minutes earlier from Linz and 5 minutes earlier from Wels.
Direction Bregenz, Innsbruck, Munich, Salzburg → Linz, Vienna: All trains will depart 5 minutes later from Wels, 10 minutes later from Linz and 30 minutes later from Amstetten and St. Pölten. Arrival in Vienna will be delayed by 30 minutes.
