With our WESTseniorenpreis fare, we offer all senior citizens a particularly favourable rate: everyone aged 65 and over saves up to 50% on our WESTflex price.
Travelling with your grandchildren? No problem! When accompanied, children under 6 travel free of charge on your lap. For children up under the age of 15, you only pay 2 euros per child and route*. Turn your family trip into a real bargain.
And with our WESTfixplatz, every online online booking automatically includes a free seat reservation.
WESTbahn – the comfortable alternative
The entire WESTbahn fleet consists of low-floor trains with step-free entry and extra-wide entry doors. So you can get to your seat without climbing a single step.
Tip: At the origin-departure stations, our trains are usually ready for boarding up to 30 minutes before departure – so you can take your seat without stress before departure.

We aim to provide our guests with a welcoming travel experience – please do not hesitate to contact our crew on board for assistance or information.
Our state-of-the-art double-decker fleet offers our passengers plenty of comfort: spacious leather seats, power sockets throughout the train, free Wi-Fi, gender-separated toilets, four WESTcafés per train (with coffee, cold drink and snack vending machines) and three comfort classes. You can also enjoy the beautiful view from the upper deck of our train!
