The WESTsuperpreis advantages
WESTbahn connects the cities of Vienna, St. Pölten, Amstetten, Linz, Wels, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck, and Salzburg every 30 minutes, and additionally continue to Innsbruck (via Kufstein and Wörgl) or Munich (via Rosenheim). Since December 2023, we operate daily services to Bregenz and back, stopping at various stations in Vorarlberg and Tyrol. Discover the many advantages of travelling with WESTbahn for yourself.
Attractive offers
With the WESTsuperpreis fare, we offer all travellers an affordable fare – and you don't need a discount card! WESTsuperpreis tickets are train-specific, subject to availability, and available in several price categories. Booking is possible from 90 days up to 1 minute before the scheduled departure. However the earlier you book, the bigger the bargain will be!
Travelling with your children? No problem – children under 6 years old travel for free when accompanied by an adult. For children up to 15 years old, you only pay 2 euros per child per journey. Turn your family outing into a bargain.
With our free included WESTfixplatz, all passengers in our Standard Class automatically receive a complimentary reserved seat for the journey when booking online.
WESTbahn – always flexible
Our WESTsuperpreis tickets are non-personalised and, therefore, transferable to other individuals.
For an additional fee, a WESTsuperpreis tickets can also be used for travelling on another WESTbahn train on the selected travel day and route.
A WESTsuperpreis ticket can be canceled online until one day before the selected travel day for a fee of 25% (minimum 4.99 euros).

Our state-of-the-art double-decker fleet offers passengers a great deal of comfort: spacious leather seats, power outlets throughout the train, free Wi-Fi, gender-separated restrooms, four WESTcafés per train (with hot beverages, cold drinks, and snack vending machines), and three comfort classes.
